IN AT THE DEEP END

In 2013, we headed down south, after we were invited to take part in RHS Hampton Court garden show.

This was an amazing experience for us. The grounds were simply stunning, with a full view of the palace each day we constructed the show garden. We were part of the "Low Cost High Impact" avenue, and only had a budget of £7,000 to build and plant the space.

A stunning cascading water feature set the scene for a dramatic 'floating' paved area. Square straight features including corten steel helped reduce the overall cost, along with perennial planting.

The judges gave us very favourable comments, awarding us a silver medal and a prime time TV slot (BBC2's Gardeners' World), with Andy Sturgeon presenting a walk through of this feature garden.
