This garden featured predominantly up-cycled materials including, pallet wood, scaffolding boards, reclaimed brick, scrap metal, scaffolding poles and paving offcuts.

The judges loved this clever use of space and commodities, featuring a dining area, a bar, a pergola, raised seating area with a fireplace and lush planting, awarding us a gold medal. And they weren't alone in their admiration, both the public and media loved it too, helping us to be rewarded with a feature on television (BBC 2's Gardeners' World) with Adam Frost presenting a walk through of this delicious space.
