“A MARIE KEATING SPONSORED GARDEN”

In 2018, the team headed over to Ireland's capital Dublin. Here we were taking part in the wonderful Bord Bia Bloom Garden festival.

If you haven't been to Bloom, then you definitely should. The food,drink and garden celebration is held in the stunning grounds of Phoenix Park in Dublin.

Our sponsor for this garden was a charity called The Marie Keating Foundation. Each year they work tirelessly to raise awareness around cancer and we are privileged to have worked alongside such a worthy cause. This garden was focussed on raising awareness of skin cancer along with cancer patients' meandering journey through treatment.

Beautifully bright colours were used throughout the planting scheme, with a winding path, taking you on a thoughtful walk, stopping at pools for reflection and a seat for calm at the end. Sun umbrellas were on hand alongside plenty of sunscreen as Dublin delivered some lovely weather. As well as local media in Ireland, we also filmed for Australian TV here too!

We were awarded a Silver Gilt medal for this garden and we were the first ever English team to take part at this prestigious show.
